What’s been happening:

I am a graduate of P.S. in Ag. Ed. in 1941. I am 89 years old and most of my class is gone by now. In my freshman year 1937 I had a private room for $2.50 a week and I ate at Fred's Restaurant for $5.50 a week (3 meals). Now you can't buy breakfast for $5.00. I was in the Air Corps in Germany 1945. I started working for the U.S. Govt. Dept. of Agriculture Feb. 1948 and retired Dec. 31, 1980. I was Farmer's Orogran chief when I resigned. I enjoyed my work, and we helped many farmers and rural residents in the housing loans in New Jersey, Delaware, and Maryland. I often said if you have a job that you enjoy and a job where you are helping people, everyday is a holiday. Enclosing my picture at my retirement party March 6th, 1981. During the last 28 years my hobby has been collecting coins and baseball cards. I have a wife, Evelyn, 2 children, and 5 grandchildren.
